UPDATE APRIL 4, 2024

POLICY AND NOTICE- WEATHER

Bend FC admin and COSL staff will announce league wide related weather or emergency cancelation between 1:30pm and 2:pm on Monday through Friday in regards to practices.

Bend FC admin and COSL staff will announce league wide related weather or emergency cancelation between 7:30am and 8am on Saturday through Sunday in regards to games.

COSL JAMBOREE HAS BEEN CANCELED due to Weather/Snow on Fields

Coaches: Equipment pick up and training sessions have been moved indoors to the Bend FC Futsal Center at 222 SE Reed Market Rd, Bend from 6-8pm Friday, March 8

• PreK - 2nd Grade: 5-6pm Equipment Pick up & 6-7pm Coach Training Session
• 3rd - 8th Grade: 6-7pm Equipment Pick up & 7-8pm Coach Training Session

Update February 24, 2024

The Jamboree is next week on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. Your Jamboree Schedule is on your team calendar in PlayMetrics.

PlayMetrics is our operating system where you registered for COSL (and created an account). This is also where you will find your team roster, team calendar and other team communication. Access it using the member login at bendfc.com or by using this link. Did you know that PlayMetrics has a great app? We recommend downloading it.

Your team calendar has your Jamboree schedule posted and may have your practice schedule posted. If you are unable to attend an event/practice/game etc, please mark your availability on your team calendar. This is very helpful for your coach.

Practices: some practices have been scheduled, some coaches have requested to wait until additional fields are assigned to us by BPRD after March 20.

If your team does not yet have a Coach, your practices will be assigned and posted to your team calendar by March 15. Please consider volunteering to coach, then you can request practice days/times that work best for YOU! Please email COSL@bendfc.com if you'd like more information about coaching.

Update February 5, 2024

March 8-10, 2024 Welcome Jamboree

• Friday, March 8th from 4-9pm, Saturday, March 9 from 8-11am
• What to expect?
• All players will play either a 3v3 or 4v4 format based on grade. Teams will play multiple short games. 7th/8th grade teams will play 9v9 on Saturday morning.
• Tursi Soccer will on site with a gear store
• Food Carts
• Uniforms are not required for jamboree, players must wear cleats and shin guards

Update January 30, 2024

Uniform Reminder: deadline for new players to order their uniforms, for a guaranteed delivery by start of games, is January 31. Returning players do not need to order new uniforms unless they are missing pieces from the kit and/or would like new sizes. Fan gear for parents is also available in the uniform store.

Orders placed after January 31 will not be guaranteed to arrive in time for games.

• New players: before ordering your uniforms, you MUST know your assigned jersey number to avoid duplicates on your team. Your number can be found on your team roster which is in your PlayMetrics account (link to login). Please follow the uniform ordering guidelines found HERE.
• All players need two jerseys, one home, one away. Boys (Black and white), Girls (Gray and Red), plus shorts and socks. Tip: This collection of items that make up a complete uniform is known as a "uniform kit". Here is a link to Central Oregon Soccer League's (COSL) Uniform Store at Tursi Soccer. • Jersey numbers are OPTIONAL for PreK - 2nd grade. 3rd grade and older must add their assigned number to their jerseys.

Update January 17, 2024

Uniforms

• New players: before ordering your uniforms, you MUST know your assigned jersey number to avoid duplicates on your team. This can be found on your team roster which is in your PlayMetrics account (link to login). Please follow the uniform ordering guidelines found HERE. 
• Returning players should use the same uniform as last year and, therefore, should have the same number assigned to them as last year. If your number is showing incorrectly on the roster, please let me know ASAP.

Team Formation

• Requests were not guaranteed. I did my very best to accommodate requests but if I didn't, it was because I couldn't. Friend requests were not an option. Please do not reach out asking for teams to be reshuffled to meet a friend request.
• Teams are formed in a manner that protects the integrity of the entire league.
• Limited teams still have some spots remaining. If you see your roster still has room and have friends who want to sign up, please direct them to www.bendfc.com/COSL to join the waitlist.

Update December 31, 2023

• Second round of registration closes January 15.
  
• Player numbers and rosters will be released by January 20.
  
• Uniform store opens January 16 BUT new players need to wait to find out their assigned number before ordering.
  
• Uniforms need to be ordered by the end of January to ensure arrival in time for games.
  
• We will NOT be able to schedule practices until after the first week of March when we are given our field assignments from Bend Parks and Rec and Bend-LaPine Schools. We have no way of knowing when your practices will be until we get our fields and can do the scheduling. 
  
• There has been an amazing turnout of volunteer coaches this year but some teams still need a coach. Once rosters are released, please take a look to see if your team has a coach or not. If not, and if you are interested, please let me know.

Update September 14, 2023

• New for 2024, Pre K and Kinder will only practice before games and not during the week.
• New for 2024, 1st and 2nd grade will only practice once a week.
