What Does an Afternoon Look Like?

1. Arrival & Snack

Students check in with Bend FC staff, get settled, and have time for a light snack and drink before beginning their afternoon activities.

2. Homework & Learning Time

Before hitting the field, students have dedicated quiet time to focus on homework and school responsibilities.

Bend FC staff will provide a structured environment, help students stay on task, and offer encouragement as they work independently.

Students who finish their homework early can use the remaining time for reading or other educational activities.

3. Soccer Development

Once homework time is complete, it's time to play!

Students will take the field for age-appropriate soccer training and games led by Bend FC staff. Sessions will emphasize individual development, confidence, creativity, and—most importantly—having fun.

Activities may include:

  • Ball mastery and individual technique
  • Dribbling and 1v1 skills
  • Passing and receiving
  • Movement and decision-making
  • Small-sided games
  • Fun, competitive play

Whether your child is an experienced soccer player or simply loves being active, the program provides an engaging environment to develop skills and enjoy the game.

4. Pick-Up

At the end of the afternoon, students gather their belongings and are ready for parent/guardian pick-up at 4:30 PM.

Schoolwork + Soccer = An Afternoon Well Spent

The hours immediately after school can be some of the hardest for busy families to manage. Homework & Soccer Club provides one convenient option that brings together three important parts of a great afternoon:

Academic Responsibility
Dedicated time to get homework and schoolwork done.

Physical Activity
An active alternative to spending the afternoon in front of a screen.

Soccer Development
Quality time on the field developing technical skills and playing the game.

Students head home having had time to finish their homework, get exercise, play soccer, and have fun—leaving families with one less thing to juggle in the evening.

Space Is Limited

To maintain a quality, supervised environment, participation is limited to 20 students per day.

Reserve your child's spot for the days your family needs.
